Sensei Michael Dukas - 8th Dan, South Africa

A respected Shihankai Member and Chief Instructor of WSKF South Africa, Sensei Michael Dukas has devoted more than five decades to the practice and teaching of traditional Shotokan Karate.


Beginning his karate journey in 1969, Sensei Dukas graded to 8th Dan in Tokyo on 16 August 2017 under the guidance of Kasuya Shihan.

His leadership continues to strengthen the WSKF community across Africa and beyond, upholding the principles of discipline, humility, and lifelong learning.


His personal philosophy — “Karate fixes everything” — reflects his belief in karate as a path to balance, character, and resilience.

Sensei Nodar Khajishvili - 8th Dan, Georgia

Sensei Nodar Khajishvili began his Shotokan Karate journey in 1970 and has dedicated over fifty years to preserving the discipline and spirit of traditional Budo.


As a Shihankai Member of the W.S.K.F. and President of the Georgian National Shotokan Karate-Do Federation, he embodies humility, loyalty, and deep respect for tradition.


His philosophy — “Train hard, stay humble” — reflects the essence of Shotokan: continuous self-improvement through disciplined practice and inner strength.


Sensei Khajishvili’s example inspires karateka worldwide to remember that true mastery is earned through perseverance, humility, and lifelong dedication to training.

Shihankai Member and Chief Instructor of WSKF Bulgaria, Sensei Georgi Georgiev stands among the senior instructors of the World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation.
