Present at the formation of the WSKF in 1990 — alongside Shihan Hitoshi Kasuya and Master Kamiyanagi — Sensei Mitsuoka continues to guide students with humility, strength, and a lifelong devotion to karate-do.

A respected Shihankai Member and Chief Instructor of WSKF South Africa, Sensei Michael Dukas has devoted more than five decades to the practice and teaching of traditional Shotokan Karate.

Beginning his karate journey in 1969, Sensei Dukas graded to 8th Dan in Tokyo on 16 August 2017 under the guidance of Kasuya Shihan.

His leadership continues to strengthen the WSKF community across Africa and beyond, upholding the principles of discipline, humility, and lifelong learning.

His personal philosophy — “Karate fixes everything” — reflects his belief in karate as a path to balance, character, and resilience.

Sensei Nodar Khajishvili began his Shotokan Karate journey in 1970 and has dedicated over fifty years to preserving the discipline and spirit of traditional Budo.

As a Shihankai Member of the W.S.K.F. and President of the Georgian National Shotokan Karate-Do Federation, he embodies humility, loyalty, and deep respect for tradition.

Shihankai Member and Chief Instructor of WSKF Bulgaria, Sensei Georgi Georgiev stands among the senior instructors of the World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation.

Since beginning his karate journey in 1979, Sensei Georgiev has dedicated his life to training, teaching, and sharing the spirit of authentic Shotokan Karate. His guidance continues to strengthen WSKF Bulgaria and inspire karateka across the world.

Sensei Bobby Bamgboye began his karate journey in 1978, building a lifetime of practice shaped by discipline, humility, and a deep respect for the traditions of Shotokan Karate. His leadership has played a major role in strengthening the WSKF community throughout Nigeria.

He serves in key leadership roles:

In August 2023, Sensei Bobby received his 7th Dan, recognising decades of dedicated training, teaching, and service to karate both in Nigeria and internationally.

 With a lifetime dedicated to the study and preservation of traditional Shotokan Karate, Sensei Ahmad Safi stands among Iran’s most respected senior instructors and a valued member of the WSKF Shihankai.

Beginning his karate journey in 1978, Sensei Safi has devoted more than four decades to training, teaching, and upholding the values of discipline, humility, and wholehearted effort. His technical precision, calm leadership, and unwavering commitment to WSKF standards have shaped generations of Iranian karateka.

As the Chief Instructor and Representative of WSKF Iran, he continues to guide students across the country with sincerity and purpose, strengthening the connection between Iran and the global WSKF family.

Sensei Safi’s words capture the heart of budo:

His example reminds us that true advancement in karate is earned through consistent, sincere training.

Sensei Uwe Borsody of Germany represents a lifetime of service to traditional Shotokan Karate, guided by discipline, humility, and unwavering loyalty to the Way.

Having commenced his training in 1975, Sensei Borsody now holds the rank of 7th Dan and serves the international karate community as a respected Shihankai Member and Chief Instructor of Germany under the banner of the World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation.
